Processing time

The time it takes to prepare items for shipping varies. 

Subscription boxes are shipped around the 4th of every month.

Shop items can take up to 5-6 days depending on the item ordered. For details, see individual items.


Our subscriptions ship monthly on the 4th through the 6th of every month. Books & Treasures boxes, Book in a Bag boxes, and Bigger boxes all ship with 2-3 day shipping. Just a book boxes and books ordered from the shop are shipped with 2-8 day shipping. Handmade items purchased from the shop ship with 2-3 day shipping. Shipping is calculated based on location and pricing will vary. We do not guarantee delivery by a specific date.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Returns, exchanges, and cancellations

Shop items can be returned or exchanged if the item is damaged send photos to for assessment. 

Subscriptions may not be returned due to the nature of the item. However If the book you receive is in unacceptable condition (keep in mind our books are used and may have small defects, writing, and rips) send photos to 

for assessment and we will see what we can do for you. Please see the About Our Box page for more information on the condition of our used books. 

Buyer is responsible for shipping back any items for exchange or return.

Cancelling a subscription will stop the renewal from going though. Doing this will still allow you to receive the boxes that you paid for. 

If you need a refund for unshipped boxes, we charge a flat $10 restocking fee. 

Because multiple month subscriptions are discounted when we refund two or more boxes of a multiple month subscription the one box you receive defaults to a full price box and the remainder of your cost is refunded.

Incorrect Address

In the event that a package was returned to us due to incorrect address or marked as undeliverable in any way we can either refund minus shipping costs or send you an invoice to reship.

If you have entered the incorrect address at checkout and you catch it before you receive the shipping notification you can change the address in your account settings or contact us for assistance. If you did not enter the correct address and you have already received the shipping notification you can wait for the box to be returned to us and we will invoice you to reship the package. 

If a package was a gift and was returned by the recipients at the address provided to us we will put a hold on the shipments until you are able to talk with the gift recipient and/or have the address changed.
